A little about me, my name is Brandon Coates and I'm currently going into my fourth year at SJSU and I'm taking ani 117a--with the renowned John Clapp--as well as ani 115 (so I have taken all of the classes up to those). It's a great line up and I'm looking forward to a fantastic (and packed) semester of learning! I would like to work in the video game industry as a concept artist, and my dream job would be to someday work at Valve! Though the last science class I took was really in high school I would consider myself incredibly interested in scientific knowledge, and I try to keep up on my scientific literacy by following various streams of media. So I'm very much so looking forward to this class!

Mini-Portfolio
Above are three quick paintings I did to try to help represent the feel I
was going for with three different short animation ideas I had for 115!
I believe I'll be going with the story of the top piece.
Here's an animation I made my first year at San Jose State University in art 28! I sure feel like I've come a long way!
